Arducam 12MP IMX708 HDR 120° Camera Module with Wide-Angle M12 Lens for Raspberry Pi

Arducam 12MP IMX708 HDR 120° Camera Module with Wide-Angle M12 Lens for Raspberry Pi

So you really dig the new Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3 with its fancy IMX708 sensor, but you'd like a bit of flexibility when it comes to the lens used. Sure you can buy the wide-angle version - but then you're stuck with wide angles for life.

Arducam has come up with a neat solution for this - a camera module for the Raspberry Pi using the same IMX708 sensor, with a similar footprint, BUT with a manual focus M12 mount for swapping our different lenses!

This module comes with a 120° wide-angle lens to get you started - you can grab more M12 lenses from our camera lens section (or use any that you already have).

Also in the box is a 150mm 15-pin to 22-pin FPC Cable (pre-fitted) to connect the module to your Pi 4/3/2, and a 22-pin to 22-pin FPC cable for connecting to a Pi Zero or Raspberry Pi 5

Raspberry Pi not included.

Features

  • An M12 Lens, manual focus camera module designed as a supplement to the official camera module
  • Based on a back-illuminated stacked CMOS 12-megapixel high-resolution Image Sensor (Sony IMX708) with HDR mode for up to 3-megapixel output on Raspberry Pi. Max Resolution: 4608x2592.
  • Wide Angle M12 Lens: Armed with a 120°(HFOV) Wide Angle M12 Lens. A wide-angle lens has a deeper depth of field, which can effectively reduce bokeh. At the same time, they can better include foregrounds for landscape photos and improve image quality.
  • Manual Focus: Manual Focus cameras are always more suitable in some special conditions. For example, in low-light and macro photography environments, manual focus can obtain a complete overall contrast of pictures, thereby improving image quality and focus accuracy. In HDR mode, panorama stitching, and other modes, manual focus can decrease different focus layers and blur efficiently.
  • Compatible with all Raspberry Pi models (two different FPC cables included for connecting to different-size camera connectors i.e. Pi Zero/Pi 5
  • Supports Raspberry Pi Bullseye OS and libcamera command.
